About Me

I've been where you are

Before becoming a coach, my life had already taken me on quite a journey. I'm an ex-Royal Navy aircraft mechanic, a military wife, mum to one, motorbike rider, paper craft creator and, these days, you'll often find me looking after our cows, chickens and dog on our small lifestyle block in New Zealand.

Over the past 22 years we've moved ten times and lived in four countries – the UK, Brazil, the USA and New Zealand – following my husband's career in both the Royal Navy and the New Zealand Defence Force. Through every move, every new beginning and every chapter, I've learnt how important resilience, adaptability and community really are.

Then, in my early forties, life changed again.

I started becoming emotional over the smallest things. I experienced anxiety for the first time. I was exercising regularly but gaining weight, and despite doing everything I thought I should be doing, I simply didn't feel like myself anymore.

Like so many women, I was told these changes were normal. But I still didn't have any answers.

Everything changed when a close friend looked at me and simply said:

"Sarah, I think you're in perimenopause."

For the first time, everything made sense.

That conversation led me to a menopause specialist, Hormone Replacement Therapy and, eventually, my own menopause coach. More importantly, it gave me hope. I finally felt heard, understood and reassured that I wasn't imagining what I was experiencing.

That experience sparked a passion to learn everything I could. I trained in menopause coaching and nutrition so that I could support other women through this stage of life with the knowledge, empathy and practical guidance I wish I'd had from the beginning.

Today, I combine professional qualifications with lived experience to help women better understand their bodies, navigate menopause with confidence and make realistic, sustainable changes that fit everyday life.

Because I know what it feels like to wonder where you have gone.

And I also know that, with the right support, you really can start to feel like yourself again.
